Washington County Jail Facility

Booking and Bond in Washington County

Washington County Inmate Mail
The incoming mail rules require a full sender name and return address. Mail to an inmate must use the inmate's full name, including middle initial, followed by care of Washington County Detention Center, 801 Jackson Street Suite 100, Salem, IN 47167. Mail without a full first and last return name and full return address is returned. Generic sender names such as "Mom & Dad" or family labels are not accepted.
Money orders may be sent by mail for inmate account credit, but other money forms received in mail are returned. The inmate phone page lists InmateSales and Combined Public Communications for phone time. Phone time can be purchased through the Justice Center kiosk, online, or by phone.
